Job Title: Accounting Analyst or Financial Reporting Officer

The Opportunity
These exciting opportunities play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. As an Accounting Analyst or Financial Reporting Officer, you will be responsible for preparing and analysing financial data, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and analyse financial data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and relevant legislation.
* Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.
* Analyse journal transactions and make ad hoc adjustments.
* Contribute to whole-of-government consolidation reports to Treasury.
Requirements:
* Significant experience in financial reporting and/or in preparing financial information.
* Sound knowledge of accounting concepts and Australian Accounting Standards.
* Well-developed conceptual and analytical skills with the ability to solve problems of a complex nature.
* Tertiary qualification in accounting or a related field and full membership of or progress towards full membership of CA ANZ or CPA Australia.
