About the Role
We are seeking a warm, energetic, and creative Lifestyle Assistant to join our team at Bodington, Wentworth Falls. In this rewarding role, you will help deliver meaningful lifestyle and engagement programs that enhance the emotional, social, and physical wellbeing of our residents, in line with Catholic Healthcare's Model of Care and Lifestyle & Engagement Framework. You will work collaboratively with the Lifestyle Team to plan, deliver, and evaluate individual and group activities that contribute to a vibrant and inclusive home environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in planning, running, and evaluating lifestyle and engagement programs.
* Support residents' participation by maintaining accurate lifestyle records and documentation.
* Build positive relationships with residents, families, volunteers, and team members.
* Promote resident wellbeing through meaningful engagement opportunities.
* Uphold workplace health and safety standards and report hazards promptly.
* Support new lifestyle staff and volunteers during orientation (as required).
About You
* To succeed in this role, you will bring:
* A Certificate III or IV in Leisure & Health (or equivalent).
* Previous experience supporting lifestyle programs in aged care preferred.
* Warm, empathetic communication skills and the ability to connect with diverse residents.
* Strong organisational and time‐management capabilities.
* A commitment to dignity, respect, and person‐centred care.
* Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
