We're currently representing a well-established national recruitment agency that is expanding its Government division in Brisbane. Due to continued growth across Federal, State, and Local Government projects, they are looking to appoint a Recruitment Consultant to manage and grow a high-activity temporary desk within the public sector.
This role would suit a recruiter who enjoys a fast-paced environment, managing ongoing government contracts, and building long-term relationships within the public sector.
The Agency
Our client has built a strong reputation delivering workforce solutions across Federal, State, and Local Government. Their Government division manages long-standing client relationships and a steady pipeline of temporary opportunities across corporate services and project-based roles.
The team operates within a collaborative environment where consultants are given autonomy to run their desk, supported by strong operational processes and experienced leadership.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage a temporary desk servicing Federal, State, and Local Government clients
* Build and maintain relationships with government hiring managers and stakeholders
* Source, screen, and manage candidates across white-collar government roles
* Coordinate interviews, compliance, and contractor onboarding
* Manage contractor relationships and ongoing assignments
* Support the continued growth of the Government division
About You
* Minimum 2 years agency recruitment experience
* Government or white-collar temporary recruitment experience highly regarded
* Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills
* Ability to manage multiple roles, contractors, and client relationships
* Organised and proactive approach to managing a busy desk
