We are seeking confident, compassionate individuals who can support clients with complex needs, offering both physical and emotional assistance to maintain safety, stability, and wellbeing. This role calls for a calm, grounded presence and the ability to guide clients safely through challenging behaviours.
About The Role
You will be supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and significant behaviours of concern. This is a dynamic, hands‐on role where you will play a vital part in creating a safe, therapeutic, and empowering environment.

* Engaging in therapeutic conversations and building meaningful rapport
* Supporting the development of social, emotional, and daily living skills
* Remaining present and supportive during silence, distress, or emotional expression
* Contributing to an innovative approach aimed at reducing seclusion and promoting recovery
* Providing personal care and hygiene support
* Assisting with medication
* Encouraging emotional wellbeing and independence
* Facilitating community participation and social engagement
* Maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive home environment

What You'll Need
* Minimum 2 years' experience in disability or youth support
* NDIS Worker Screening (Yellow Card)
* WWCC (Blue Card)
* First Aid and CPR Certificate
* Driver's licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
* Physical fitness to meet the demands of an active, intensive role
* Emotional resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure
* Strong communication, observation, and problem‐solving skills
* Ability to document, observe, and collect data accurately
* Sensitivity, self‐awareness, and respect for others
* Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality
* Reliability, professionalism, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact
* Experience supporting vulnerable individuals or high‐risk situations
* Relevant qualification or experience in health, social care, mental health, youth work, or related fields
Highly Regarded
* Cert IV in Mental Health or equivalent
* Experience with complex behaviours or mental health
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Tech‐savvy and organised
