About the Opportunity
The Senior Operations Officer is responsible for providing a specialist assessment service in the administration of Liquor Licensing in accordance with the relevant legislation. Reporting to The Team Leader, the Senior Operations Officer will support their team as an escalation point for complex customer queries and complaints. The role will also be monitoring workflows and team output and providing scheduled and ad-hoc training and coaching to their team.

The Licensing Branch provides an essential service to South Australian's seeking to apply for, renew or obtain information on occupational, liquor or gaming licences. The Licensing Branch additionally administers the voluntary and involuntary barring of individuals as it relates to liquor and gaming. The branch also administers the registration and licensing of incorporated associations, charities and lotteries across the state.

Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested. Forms are not to be lodged directly with SA Police (SAPOL) under any circumstances and any fees incurred by applicants in doing so will not be recoverable from the AGD.
