Overview
This role is hybrid (about 2x a week in office - uptown Charlotte), with great hours, flexibility, and benefits.
Your Role
* Review financial reports and profit allocation statements, including NAV calculations, in line with client deadlines.
* Lead the workflows of all client relationships within your account.
* Serve as the primary contact for clients regarding monthly reporting and inquiries.
* Maintain relationships with investors, auditors, advisors, brokers and banking partners.
* Develop and maintain KPIs concerning staffing: production, overtime budgeting and productivity.
* Ensure compliance with internal and external procedures and best practices.
* Assist with onboarding new clients and launching new funds.
* Review and improve accounting workflows to enhance NAV production efficiency.
* Ensure internal reporting requirements are met.
* Contribute to strategic departmental and company-wide initiatives.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics
* CPA & Masters is preferred, not required
* 8+ years of Fund Accounting Experience
* Strong background in financial services, especially with hedge funds, private equity or investment firms.
* Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing teams effectively.
