Job Description:

As a mechanical systems specialist, you will be responsible for assembling, troubleshooting, and repairing complex equipment. You will work on flight engines, spacecraft components, and test equipment, collaborating with engineers to develop and document activities.
Responsibilities:

1. Prepare test articles, test stands, and systems for operations
\
2. Ensure timely, safe, and professional servicing of all test stand-related equipment and systems
\
3. Perform post-test operations and inspections to guarantee flight-worthy hardware
\
4. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and instrumentation as needed
\
5. Fabricate, repair, and assemble hardware/equipment required for test operations
\
6. Collaborate with engineers to develop and document activities
\
7. Ensure all components and materials are clean and inspected according to applicable standards
\
8. Operate and maintain hardware, high-pressure systems, pumps, pneumatic components, and other ancillary equipment
\
9. Obtain and maintain licenses, operator permits, or certifications as required
\
10. Monitor and maintain inventory of cryogenic equipment, pneumatic equipment, fittings, hoses, and supplies necessary for test operations
\
11. Acquire proper inventory parts and equipment needed for repair or replacement of defective components
\
12. Process work orders and maintenance tickets
\
13. Perform various related duties in support of acceptance and development testing, as well as testing site-wide, as needed
\
14. Develop innovative ways to streamline processes and increase the reliability of testing operations
\
15. Participate in rigging and crane operations for test equipment and test articles, including hangar bridge cranes and mobile crane lifts
