About The Role
As Senior Contracts Administrator on the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP), you will:
Plan and manage the end-to-end commercial management of large subcontracts and self-performed works, both directly and indirectly.
Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and direct reports to achieve project commercial outcomes.
Responsibilities
Provide management and leadership to other commercial team members, including direct reports.
Participate in scope of works planning and develop procurement strategies.
Assess commercial and contractual risks, implement controls, and escalate issues appropriately.
Manage subcontracts through all project phases effectively.
What We Are Looking For
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Economics, Quantity Surveying, Law, Commerce, or equivalent.
Experience in all stages of subcontract management, including scope preparation, procurement, cost forecasting, subcontractor management, claims/variations management, and project close-out.
Strong commercial acumen in cost management, contract law, and industry market conditions.
