About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Transport Forklift Operator to join a well-established manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in keeping production and transport operations running smoothly.
The position involves operating a side loader forklift to move and load long production panels (up to 16 metres). While side loader experience is highly regarded, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Shift Details
Training Period
* 8:00am – 4:30pm (until confident to work independently)
Rotating Shifts (post-training)
* Morning Shift: 5:45am – 2:15pm
* Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm – 10:30pm
Pay Rates
* Day Shift: $32.31 per hour
* Afternoon Shift: $36.95 per hour
Key Responsibilities
* Unloading panels (up to 16m long) from the production line
* Accurately and safely stacking packs within the yard
* Loading trucks and semi-trailers
* Operating a side loader forklift safely and confidently
* Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Maintaining professional and respectful communication with drivers and co-workers
About You
* Confident forklift operator (essential)
* Side loader experience advantageous (training provided)
* Strong safety awareness and load security knowledge
* Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
* Reliable, punctual, and physically fit with no pre-existing injuries
* Team player with a positive and respectful attitude
