Today, we have nearly 1,000 staff and are developing iconic locations in Sydney and Melbourne.Our upcoming flagship Social Wellness Club, opening in July 2025, will feature an all-day concept including a state-of-the-art gym, group classes, reformer pilates, cold plunge, sauna, spa, recovery zones, sound bath, business lounge, co-working spaces, health food café, and various health professionals.The role:Reporting to the Club General Manager, you will implement preventative and reactive maintenance schedules safely, on time, and within budget. You will be the primary maintenance contact for our facilities.Responsibilities include:Developing a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule covering the building shell, fixtures, fittings, and grounds, and supporting fitness equipment repairs.Overseeing minor repairs and reactive maintenance, tracking all activities and managing the maintenance budget.Managing contracts and ensuring service level agreements are met.Overseeing contractors to ensure safety and quality outcomes.Ensuring electrical compliance, emergency lighting, PAT testing, and reporting maintenance updates and Capex projections.Promoting safety and maintaining a secure environment for members and staff.Performing opening and closing procedures and first aid duties as needed.Raising awareness about the club's environmental impact and implementing utility reduction strategies.Collaborating with the Head of Department team to monitor and improve building services.About you:You bring at least 2 years of relevant facility maintenance experience, including HVAC, and hold a first aid certification. A relevant trade qualification (electrical, air conditioning, or refrigeration) is preferred, and you can obtain a Pool Operators certificate if required.You are multi-skilled, knowledgeable about building services and compliance, and passionate about property presentation and energy efficiency. You manage budgets well and aim to exceed performance targets.You are customer-focused, patient, calm under pressure, and capable of explaining technical details clearly. Trustworthiness and authentic communication are your strengths.You are proactive, inquisitive, problem-solving, and adaptable to change.
