About the Role
This is an exciting new opportunity to lead our maintenance services across all sites in the Northern Territory.
You will oversee the delivery of high-quality maintenance outcomes, ensuring our sites operate to legislative standards and safety standards for residents, visitors, staff, and contractors.
This busy and rewarding role will see you provide guidance and support to major projects such as new developments, refurbishments, and upgrades.
You will be responsible for managing competing priorities, delivering quality and on-time outcomes within allocated budgets, and working independently to achieve set goals.
A key aspect of this role will be your ability to work with a broad contractor/subcontractor base, ensuring the appropriate performance of contractors in delivering high-quality outcomes.
The successful candidate will bring a background and knowledge of local contractors and suppliers, be up to date with WHS and Emergency legislation, and demonstrate a solid career in trades.
You will also have experience in facility and asset management, auditing, record keeping, and policy development around safe practices.
In addition, you will be a supportive and approachable staff member, able to manage sites remotely and travel to remote areas of the Northern Territory when required.

Requirements
* A strong background and knowledge of local contractors and suppliers.
* Up-to-date knowledge of WHS and Emergency legislation.
* A solid career in trades.
* Experience in facility and asset management, auditing, record keeping, and policy development around safe practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including stakeholder management and computer literacy.
* A willingness to work after hours on an 'On-Call' roster or 'Call Out' basis, and travel to ARRCS facilities across the NT when required.
