PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Provide high level advice and analysis on commercial contracts and partnerships and the provision of economic and analytical services and
guidance regarding the commercial and strategic business activities of the Power and Water Corporation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The “WHAT” to be delivered
- Provide high level commercial advice and analysis regarding the commercial and strategic business activities of the Corporation.
- Develop, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts and partnerships to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory
requirements.
- Prepare robust business cases for new initiatives, investments, and service offerings, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal, government and industry stakeholders to support commercial outcomes.
- Monitor commercial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement mitigation strategies to protect and grow revenue
streams.
- Provide commercial oversight and input into major projects and initiatives, including commercial feasibility assessments, procurement
and contracting strategies.
- Manage the procurement and engagement of professional consultants.
- Contribute to the development of the Corporation’s strategic direction through the provision of key commercial inputs to inform
Executive and Board decision-making.
