Our Home Health program delivers in-home support services to our aged care customers to help them live independently, supported and empowered, within their own homes and communities. We are seeking Experienced Home Care Support Workers in Blue Mountains and surrounding areas of Blaxland, Blackheath, Falconbridge, Bullaburra, Katoomba, Leura, Springwood, Medlow Bath, Sun Valley, Megalong Valley, Warrimoo, Wentworth Falls, Winmalee, Yellow Rock, Hazelbrook, Lawson, Woodford, Linden, Mount Victoria. What's On Offer Permanent Part-time contracts are available depending on your location and availability to work $31.13 - $34.93 per hour (dependent on experience) + 12% super + travel allowance of $0.92 per KM + paid travel time Stable roster & opportunity to work extra hours based on business needs Smartphone and Uniform – ready when you join us A fully supported and paid Induction program Fitness Passport - a discounted gym membership program (for eligible employees and their families) Your New Role Help at Home: such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation etc. Transportation and Personal Care: Experienced staff assist customers with appointments, shopping, social outings, showering, toileting, feeding etc. Client Awareness: Building relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training Safety Practices: Adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe Key Requirements Current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable comprehensively insured vehicle Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday We welcome applicants that have the below experience and/or a qualification Disability Support Worker Community Services/ Mental Health worker Assistant in Nursing (AIN) Bachelor of Social Work/ Nursing You could be an experienced Support Worker or even new to the industry coming from experience in customer service, administration, retail, or hospitality.
