Overview
Sharp & Carter have exclusively partnered with a large listed organisation to recruit a payroll professional. This position is based in Carole Park and offers hybrid working and free onsite parking.
Responsibilities
- Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll ensuring accurate calculations;
- Audit and analyse payrolls to ensure legislative, tax, superannuation, and award compliance;
- Prepare and manage reports, reconciliations, and other internal payroll requirements;
- Collaborate with HR on employee appointments, terminations, remuneration, and award matters;
- Maintain accurate staff records, archiving, and adherence to company retention policies;
- Support payroll system upgrades and continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience processing medium to large payrolls in a complex environment
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team approach
- Eagerness to advance knowledge of technologies and online tools.
