T2M are currently working with a nationwide business who provide servicing, commissioning and repair to a range of dental equipment to help them to recruit an Experienced Engineer / Team leader to lead their Dentistry Engineering team across the North.
This position will include management of the Northern team of dental engineers, with a strong focus on mentoring, upskilling, and ensuring engineers are fully trained and equipped to carry out their duties.
* A salary of £45,000 – £55,000 has been initially budgeted for this role depending on experience, with the package also including a car or allowance and several other nice to have benefits such as a private medical plan.
What will you be doing?
As Dental Engineering Leader key responsibilities will include:
* Oversee the servicing, commissioning and repair of all dental equipment.
* Offer and provide technical and engineering support to field engineers as and when required.
* Management of the team of dental engineers, including scheduling and ensuring compliance.
* Help develop engineers, mentoring, upskilling, and ensuring engineers are fully trained and equipped to carry out their duties.
* Collaborate with back office teams (scheduling, equipment, invoicing etc.) to ensure high levels of service delivery.
What are we looking for?
To be successful as Dental Engineering Leader, you will have the following skills and experience:
* Previous experience within a similar team leadership position.
* Strong experience working with a variety of Dental Equipment, chairs, sterilisers, deliver units, air lines, etc.
* As comfortable overseeing and mentoring a team as carrying out hands on work in the field yourself.
* Strong planning, time management, administration, and organisational skills.
* Excellent communication skills and strengths in building relationships, will need to liaise with internal staff and key contacts from clients.
