Trinity Grammar School is seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Data Platform Administrator to join our Technology Services team. This is an exciting 12 month opportunity to play a key role in advancing the School's vision for a data-driven, technologically progressive environment.
Working within the Applications & Solutions Team, you will manage and enhance key database systems, including Synergetic, while supporting data integration, reporting, and performance across the School. You'll partner closely with stakeholders to ensure data systems are reliable, secure, and enable evidence-based decision-making.
This role is designed to evolve into a Data Engineering position as we continue our transition to the Microsoft Cloud ecosystem.
Key responsibilities
* Administering and optimising Synergetic and reporting platforms (e.g. Crystal Reports)
* Supporting core business applications and data integrations
* Enhancing database performance, security, and disaster recovery frameworks
* Leading best practice in database design, monitoring, and governance
* Supporting strategic data initiatives and cross-departmental projects
About you
* Experience with Synergetic, SQL Server, and cloud platforms (e.g. Azure SQL)
* Strong understanding of data warehousing, integrations, and database performance
* Familiarity with Microsoft technologies (e.g. Power Platform, Power BI) highly regarded
