Sytner Tamworth is looking for a Bodyshop Driver.
Your role
As a Driver, you will be responsible for the collection and delivery of alloy wheels and tyres between our West Midlands Sytner Retailers and our state-of-the-art alloy wheel refurbishment facility based in Tamworth. You will play a key role in ensuring wheels are transported safely, efficiently, and on schedule to support our refurbishment and repair processes.
You will represent the Sytner brand at all times when visiting our Retailers, maintaining a professional and courteous manner and building strong working relationships with colleagues across the business. Clear communication is essential, including advising Retailers of estimated arrival times and providing updates where required.
The role involves the manual handling of alloy wheels and tyres as part of daily collections and deliveries, and you will be expected to follow all health and safety procedures to ensure work is carried out safely and efficiently.
This is a full-time role, typically working Monday to Friday, with flexibility required to meet business demands.
Your profile
Ideally, you will have previous experience in a driving, logistics, or automotive-related role, however this is not essential as full training will be provided. You will be comfortable with the physical aspects of the role, including loading and unloading alloy wheels and tyres, and able to carry out these duties safely in line with health and safety guidance.
Strong organisational skills are important, as you will be responsible for planning multiple collections and deliveries throughout the day while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail. A good knowledge of the local area, along with confident navigational skills, will be beneficial.
Most importantly, you will be dependable, punctual, and take pride in delivering a high standard of service while representing the Sytner brand.
