About the Role
My client is a niche professional services firm known for its technical expertise, collaborative culture, and commitment to delivering high‐quality outcomes for clients.
The Accounts and Administration Officer plays a key role in supporting the business with accounting, administration, and coordination activities. You'll work closely with the Directors and Business Manager to ensure smooth financial operations, timely invoicing and proactive administrative support.
Key responsibilities
* Accounts receivable, invoicing, and payment processing
* Preparing and issuing invoices and supporting documentation
* Managing client details and job information in WorkflowMax
* Following up outstanding payments and issuing statements
* Providing general administration and office support
* Assisting with bookkeeping tasks as required
* Supporting staff with project management system use
* Preparing documents, correspondence, and reports
* Contributing to continuous improvement of processes
About you
The successful candidate will bring:
* 3+ years' experience in an Accounts / Administration Officer or similar role
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Confidence working with Xero and Microsoft Office
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
* Full working rights in Australia
