Your opportunity

Urban Utilities has an opportunity in a newly shaped Planning and Scheduling Team Leader role within our Maintenance Services group.

This team is part of our wider Operations and Maintenance portfolio, Dedicated to the safe and efficient delivery of water services through the operation and maintenance of our water, wastewater and resource recovery infrastructure. This team is vital to Urban Utilities' purpose to "Enrich Quality of Life," ensuring the safety of our people and customers, protecting public health and the environment, meeting customer needs, and minimising long-term service costs.

The Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Leader is responsible for leading a team of maintenance planners and schedulers to ensure the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of maintenance activities across water and wastewater networks and treatment infrastructure. The role oversees the planning, coordination, and optimisation of preventive maintenance to support asset reliability, regulatory compliance, and strong customer service outcomes. It ensures all maintenance work is well-planned, appropriately resourced, and executed in a timely manner, aligned with the Asset Management Framework and operational priorities.

About you
* Trade qualification or bachelor's degree in engineering (or a related field)
* Qualifications in asset management highly regarded
* 5+ years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, Utilities experience highly regarded
* 3+ years' experience leading teams in an operational or frontline environment
* Proven capability in engaging effectively with internal and external stakeholders
* Strong understanding of maintenance practices and asset management principles
* C-Class drivers licence, While this role is office based regular site visits are necessary
