Job Description:
As a Corporate Affairs and Legal Manager, you will be at the forefront of strategic governance, overseeing legal frameworks and stakeholder engagement. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position plays a pivotal role in advancing complex policy agendas and high-level initiatives.
This role demands sound legal knowledge, particularly of the Aboriginal Land Rights (NT) Act 1976 (Cth), as well as demonstrated capability in executive support, ministerial liaison, and multi-sector collaboration. The successful candidate will be an articulate and principled professional, capable of navigating complex cultural and political contexts to help realise the organisation's mission.
This position is based in Darwin, Cairns or Groote Eylandt and requires regular travel to the Groote Eylandt Archipelago and other locations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Sound legal knowledge of the Aboriginal Land Rights (NT) Act 1976 (Cth)
