Consultant Geriatrician | Regional Referral Hospital | North-West Victoria
We are working closely with an established Geriatric Medicine service within a key regional referral hospital in north-west Victoria and are keen to connect with FRACP Geriatricians interested in a full‐time role offering continuity, integration and meaningful community impact.
The service supports an ageing cross‐border population and operates across acute geriatric consults, subacute GEM care and rehabilitation‐linked models. The role offers close involvement in multidisciplinary care planning and coordination across hospital and community settings.
This position will appeal to Geriatricians seeking hands‐on regional practice with strong clinical continuity and manageable service scale.
The Hospital
This is a substantial regional hospital of approximately 170 beds serving communities across Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia.
The Geriatric Medicine service includes:
* Acute geriatric consult service
* GEM / subacute inpatient services
* Rehabilitation collaboration
* Community and discharge planning interface
* Multidisciplinary team model
* Teaching and supervision involvement

Requirements
* Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) – Geriatric Medicine
* Specialist Registration with AHPRA (or eligibility)
* International Medical Graduates assessed by RACP as partially or substantially comparable
