We are seeking a dedicated and motivated provisional psychologist or registered psychologist to join our allied health practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in working with autistic children and teens as well as children and teens with developmental and mental health concerns.
Job Description:
Our team provides assessment and therapy for children and teens with anxiety, depression or other mental health problems. We also conduct autism diagnostic assessments and other psychometric and mental health assessments.
The successful candidate will be part of a vibrant and supportive team that makes the workplace enjoyable. We are a family-friendly practice with recently refurbished premises featuring beautifully designed consulting rooms, ample outdoor space, sensory gym, gardens and resident chickens.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A 5-year (minimum) psychology degree
* Experience / demonstrated interest working with autistic children / teens
* Awareness of evidence-based interventions
* Committed to ongoing professional development
* Ability to cover a broad range of presenting issues
