Join Our Guest Services Team at Coral Tree Inn – Cairns
Coral Tree Inn is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and committed Guest Services Agent to join our fabulous, fun-loving team.
This is a Part-Time position on a 7-day rotating roster, covering AM shifts (6:30am–2:00pm) and PM shifts (1:30pm–9:00pm), including weekends and public holidays depending on operational needs.
About the Role
As our Guest Services Agent, you'll be the first friendly face our guests see. You'll ensure the smooth running of your shift and take charge of tasks including (but not limited to):
* Delivering exceptional guest service, including check-in and check-out
* Processing reservations, cancellations, and no-shows—including group bookings
* Managing the front desk independently during PM shifts
* Handling general office tasks (emails, phone calls, correspondence)
* Responding to and resolving guest issues
* Monitoring OTA channels and responding to guest reviews
* Reporting and cross-checking with the General Manager
* Managing payments, credit handling, and billing
* Providing tour information and making bookings
* Allocating rooms efficiently
* Assisting with housekeeping or restaurant operations when needed
What We're Looking For

* The ability to thrive under pressure
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* At least 1 year of hotel front office experience
* Fantastic time management and multitasking abilities
* High attention to detail
* Full availability across a rotating 7-day roster (AM & PM)
* RoomMaster and Siteminder knowledge (preferred but not required)
* A current Food Handling certificate or willingness to obtain one
