The Role
* Capital project engineers are responsible for implementing and managing capital projects across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and implement capital projects to improve business efficiency and reduce costs.
* Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
* Maintain technical expertise in site services, building services, industrial energy efficiency, and other related areas.
* Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and vendors.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline, such as mechanical or electrical engineering.
* Proven experience in project management, preferably in a capital project environment.
* Strong technical skills in site services, building services, and industrial energy efficiency.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
* Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools, such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
Preferred Qualifications:
* PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification.
* Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Knowledge of Lean principles and practices, with a focus on waste reduction and process improvement.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual who has experience and knowledge in technical skills in site services or building services, industrial energy efficiency opportunity identification and execution, contractor management, conveying and palletising systems, high-speed packing solutions, hazardous dust controls.
Technical expertise across engineering disciplines and high expertise in one or more domains is also preferred. An engineering degree recognised by the Engineers Australia Institute is required, along with significant project engineering and management experience. Leading people management, leadership, and development are essential skills for this role.
