A leading global manufacturer and supplier of precision hydraulic components, we were established locally in 1976 with headquarters in Wollongong. Our Australian operations serve the Fluid Power industry via a country-wide network of Branches and Distributors.
STAUFF currently has a vacancy for a Technical Support Engineer at our Wollongong Head Office.
You will have significant experience within hydraulics, pneumatics, mechatronics or industrial technology.
Duties include the following:
* Provide technical support to staff, distributors and customers
* Provide computer aided drafting support
* Specify technical solutions
* Liaise with overseas suppliers
* Maintain strict adherence to safety and compliance with Australian standards
* In addition to fluid power line components, our range also includes:
- Electronic test equipment
- Spray nozzles
- Gear pumps
- Water hydraulic solutions
To be considered for this position, your engineering skills and experience should include:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering
* Fluid power practical experience is essential
* Mechatronics stream applicants welcome
* Experience with hydraulic accumulators
* Computer aided drafting: Solidworks or AutoCAD Inventor (preferred)
* Good Communication and ability to work as a part of a national team
