Site Manager – Bendigo Advertiser
Newcastle location – Remediation projects ranging from $500k to $10M. Ideal candidate with high‑rise building facade experience.
Responsibilities & Duties
* Manage on‑site work from initial set‑up to completion.
* Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements.
* Oversee project site, plant & equipment maintenance.
* Control costs and run projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
* Coordinate direct labour, labour‑hire and subcontractors.
* Delegate work activities efficiently and appropriately.
* Prepare project progress reports and hold weekly meetings.
* Provide advice on technical, trade or engineering issues (if applicable).
* Drive problem‑solving and lead innovative solution development.
Qualifications
* Construction or trade background with previous experience on remediation projects.
* Team player with strong negotiation, influencing, conflict resolution, communication and influencing skills.
* Frontline management or leadership experience.
* Attention to detail and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
* Current driver’s licence.
* Expertise in site management & delivery, budgeting, stakeholder and subcontractor management, documentation and approvals.
