JNS Diesel Contracting are currently seeking heavy diesel mechanics to join our talented and friendly team of fitters. We are a small rural diesel maintenance company situated in Cloncurry, North West Queensland.
Our Services:
- Heavy diesel equipment repair and maintenance
- Auto electrical repairs and maintenance
- Air conditioning repairs and maintenance
- Welding and fabrication
- Machinery and vehicle preventative maintenance servicing.

The Position
Contracting to surrounding mines with flexible roster options available.
Work vehicle supplied.
The successful applicant will need to be an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who possesses the following attributes and abilities:
- Mechanical Trade Certificate (Plant Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Diesel Vehicle Mechanic)
- Sound knowledge in Diagnostics, repair and maintenance, pneumatic, diesel systems, auto electrical, air conditioning and hydraulic repairs
- Sound knowledge of all general servicing tasks
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability for coaching, mentoring, training of apprentices, trades assistants, work experience etc
- Maintain quality and urgency in the work performed
- Maintain a high degree of safety
- Current Drivers Licence (HR licence an advantage)

You must be able have clean and sober habits and willing to undertake a medical health clearance, police check and currently live in Australia.
