We are seeking a part-time P–12 Admissions Consultant (0.6 FTE) with flexibility in how the days are structured across the week to join our Community Engagement team and play a key role in supporting prospective families through the enrolment journey.
About The Role
Admissions is the first human point of contact for many families. This role suits someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, brings a strong service mindset, and takes pride in accuracy, follow-through and clear communication.
Working closely with the Senior Admissions Consultant and wider Admissions team, you will:
Provide warm, responsive and professional customer service to prospective families
Respond to enquiries and manage applications with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Confidently communicate the MLC educational experience and enrolment processes
Support campus tours, open mornings and enrolment events
Maintain accurate records across CRM and student management systems
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the College to ensure a connected and positive family experience
About you
You Will Bring
Experience in a customer-facing role where professionalism, accuracy and relationship management were important
A genuine commitment to high-quality customer service
Strong attention to detail and confidence in managing multiple processes
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Confidence using CRM and student management systems
Sound judgement, discretion and professionalism when working with families
A good understanding of the independent school environment, gained through professional or personal experience (for example, as a school parent or through previous school-based roles)
Previous experience working in admissions is not required. Familiarity with independent school culture and enrolment cycles is important.
