What To Expect
We are seeking a Regional Service Coordinator to join our team at Tesla. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting multiple storage locations, managing parts operations across multiple sites, ensuring efficient inventory management and timely delivery of parts to support Tesla's service operations for commercial and residential teams.
This position will require travel across Australia, occassionally outside of normal working hours or on weekends.
What You'll Do
* Inventory Management: Oversee service parts flow and storage containment at commercial and residential sites, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and cycle counting, site audits, to ensure adequate stock levels and minimizing shortages.
* Material & Parts Distribution: Manage and strategize the distribution of required material stock at remote storage Sites, optimizing inventory levels and logistics schedules to meet service demands.
* Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline parts operations processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs, implementing best practices and standard operating procedures as needed.
* Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operations, such as Parts Availability, Aged Returns, Cycle Count Accuracy, and Van Stock Consumption Compliance; implementing strategies to optimize performance and achieve targets.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including service, logistics, procurement, EHS and finance, to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and service delivery goals.
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to warehousing & parts operations, including safety, quality, and environmental standards.
* Up-Time % management: Review service casework that correlates with high velocity materials needed to keep Up-Time % at the most optimal amount. Also partner with your local Regional Service Coordinators to ensure all materials needed for field service activities are available within local OC network.
What You'll Bring
* Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field (preferred but not required).
* Proven experience in warehousing operations, inventory management, or supply chain management.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and vendors.
* Knowledge of inventory management systems, WMS software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Flexibility to travel on weekends on occassion.
