Position Summary
We are looking for a proactive
Mid-level QA Manual Tester
to take a key role in maintaining the high standards of the fatsecret ecosystem. At this level, you aren't just following test cases — you are helping to shape our quality strategy. You will be responsible for ensuring our mobile applications deliver a seamless experience to our millions of users worldwide.
You will act as a bridge between product requirements and technical execution, ensuring that every feature we ship is robust and high-performing.

Who you are:
* Experience:
3–5 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance.
* Mobile Testing Experience:
Deep experience in testing iOS and Android applications, including an understanding of platform-specific design guidelines and behaviour.
* Analytical Thinker:
You don't just find "what" is broken; you investigate the "why." You have a strong ability to analyse complex business requirements and turn them into comprehensive test strategies.
* Process-Driven:
You have a solid grasp of the SDLC and STLC, with experience working in Agile environments.
* Communication:
You can articulate technical issues clearly to developers and non-technical stakeholders alike.
* Quality Advocate:
You take pride in being the final gatekeeper for the user experience.
Your Responsibilities:
* Evaluation & Estimation:
Actively participate in sprint planning and grooming sessions to evaluate user stories. You will provide accurate time and effort estimations for testing activities, identifying potential risks or complexities early in the project lifecycle.
* Test Strategy & Design:
Create, maintain, and execute detailed test plans and test cases that cover functional, regression and integration testing.
* Defect Management:
Identify, document, and prioritise bugs. You will take ownership of the bug lifecycle, from discovery to verification.
* Release Ownership:
Assist in coordinating release cycles, ensuring all features meet the "Definition of Done" before deployment.
* Collaboration:
Work closely with Developers and Product Managers to refine user stories and identify potential edge cases early in the design phase.
* Mentorship:
Provide guidance and peer reviews for junior team members to ensure consistency in testing standards.
