Locations: East Perth | Jandakot | Neerabup
Rate: $45-$50/hour (incl. 25% casual loading) + Super
Hours: Monday to Friday | 6am-6pm | 80 hours across 9 shifts per fortnight
Eligibility: Open to Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents only
About the Role
Are you passionate about keeping WA's roads safe and well-maintained? We're looking for detail-oriented and proactive Network Inspectors to help monitor and maintain vital road infrastructure across Perth.
In this hands-on role, you'll be out in the field inspecting road assets, identifying defects, and helping prioritise maintenance work to keep our network running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough inspections of roads, signs, vegetation, and other assets
* Identify and report defects and maintenance needs
* Provide clear scopes and priorities to support maintenance teams
* Ensure compliance with safety and technical standards
What You'll Need
Essential:
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
* Sharp attention to detail and excellent observation skills
* Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
* Able to pass a drug and alcohol test + National Police Clearance (within the last 6 months or willing to obtain)
* Valid WA C-Class Driver's Licence + Construction White Card
* Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
* Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook & Excel
Desirable:
* Previous experience in road maintenance or construction
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
