Overview
Bennco Group is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to estimate and tender on mining construction works across the Pilbara and remote WA.
Role Requirements
* Experience managing tender process from preparation, analysis, submission and clarifications.
* Prepare detailed and competitive tender estimates, budgets, cost plans, and take-offs.
* Collaborate with design teams, clients, and delivery teams to ensure tender alignment across all project phases.
* Ensure effective handover of awarded tenders to Operations and ongoing communication with clients.
* Proven experience in tendering and estimating for mining, building and construction projects.
* Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
* Identify and manage cost-specific risks, opportunities, and value management strategies.
* Strong understanding of construction methodologies and WA market rates.
* Strong subcontractor and supplier engagement skills.
* High level of commercial acumen and contract knowledge.
About you
* Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field (preferred).
* Minimum 5 years senior‐level estimating experience within the construction sector.
* Strong understanding of construction techniques and market conditions.
* Proficiency in estimating software such as Simpro, Procore, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
* Proficiency in client platforms such as Ariba, Aconex & EstimateOne.
* Exceptional communication, time management and problem-solving skills.
* Proven ability to 'think outside the box' and deliver results in high-pressure environments and work both autonomously and collaboratively.
