We are seeking an Active Living Engagement & Innovation Officer to build partnerships, and support community engagement through the National Physical Activity and Walking Initiative.
You will have the opportunity to work flexibly, blending your time between home and one of our Capital City offices.
What You'll Be Doing Building strong relationships with health professionals, community organisations, and key partnersExpanding referral pathways into Heart Foundation WalkingFinding digital solutions that make engagement more effective and improve health outcomesContributing to evaluation, data collection, and reportingSupporting the delivery of engagement initiatives, activities and events that reach priority communities
What You'll Bring Experience in stakeholder engagement or partnership developmentA collaborative style with teamwork as a priorityConfidence with digital tools and platforms (and curiosity for new ones)Experience contributing to evaluation, data, and reportingClear, engaging communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)An understanding of heart health and physical activity with a strong desire to learn
It would be a bonus if you had:A background in public health, exercise science, or a related fieldExperience in digital health or community-based programsAn ability to translate data and insights into meaningful, practical improvements
