While today, BGT offer a much broader range of services, their original philosophy remains as strong as ever – to create positive life stories for local youth and the wider community.The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for providing impeccable leadership to BGT, ensuring organisational alignment and commitment to BGT's philosophy, whilst nurturing BGT's existing community and program engagement.Key areas of responsibility will include:Strategic Leadership: Driving the development and implementation of BGT's strategic plan, with a core focus on sustainable growth.Revenue Sustainability and Diversification: Grow existing revenue streams and identify and pursue new revenue opportunities aligned to BGT's purpose.Financial Oversight: Work with the Board of Directors and finance team to ensure robust financial management, budgeting, and reporting.Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring the brand and reputation of BGT is upheld.Team Empowerment: Inspire, lead and support a passionate team and drive a high performing culture to ensure the delivery of BGT's goals and uphold its values.As the CEO of BGT you will bring innovative thinking and commercial intellect along with a proven track record in leading and managing in a similar type role in a complex environment.
Demonstrated experience in executing long term strategic plans, balancing financial, social and customer outcomes and the ability to build relationships and influence across government, corporate and community sectors is essential.
A natural leader, you will have built high performing accountable cultures and effectively coached, mentored and engaged team members to be their best.
A deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the not-for-profit sector combined with a passion for making an impact and alignment to BGT's values and philosophy will be critical to your success.The remuneration package (base salary, superannuation and salary packaging) will be negotiated with the successful candidate based on skills and experience.Inspired?
