Fuse Recruitment are seeking an experienced Forfklift Operator with High reach and Counter Balance forklift operating experience for a temp to perm role to work with one of our Chemical manufacturing clients based in Wetherill Park.
These roles are working 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday with overtime available.

The Role: Forklfit Operator
Working within a team of 10 Stores People this role will see you completing both High reach and Counter Balance forklift duties as well as all-rounder Store person manual handling duties.
Goods can consist of neat pallets to pallets consisting of drums of paint and cleaning chemicals.
Your main duties will involve:
High reach Duties:
* Picking, Replenishment and put aways up to 5 racks high
* RF scanning of goods
* Picking stock from the racks and dropping to the despatch area
Counter Balance:
* Counter balance forklift operation to move goods to and from the production line to the despatch and racking pick face
* Loading and unloading for trucks and containers
* Receiving and despatch of goods
* Moving of stock from receiving and staging areas to the pick face and manufacturing areas
Manual Handling duties:
* RF scanning of goods
* Palletising stock
* Shrink wrapping stock
* Cross checking paperwork to customer orders
* Receiving and despatch work
* Lifting of between 5kgs and 15kgs required throughout the day
The Candidate:
To be successful in obtaining this role you will have the following experience:
* 3+ years High Reach and Counterbalance forklift operating experience
* Store person experience in a manufacturing environment
* Having worked in chemical manufacturing facilities in previous roles is highly advantageous
* Experience in High reach putaways and replenishment up to 5 bays high
* Experience loading and unloading trucks and containers
* Mezzanine floor loading is advantageous
* Receiving and despatch experience
* RF Scanning experience
* Experience cross checking paperwork against customer orders
* Willingness to complete manual handling and pick packing tasks
* Must be physically fit to conduct manual handling duties
* Must adhere to strict WHS policy and procedures on site
* Must be reliable and responsible at all times
* Capacity to work autonomously as well as within a team
* Ability to follow strict orders and work systematically
