Junior Advisor, Talent Acquisition
We're looking for a Junior Advisor, Talent Acquisition to join our growing ANZ TA team, supporting recruitment across SMEC Australia & New Zealand. This is a great opportunity for someone who has 1–2 years' experience in recruitment and is ready to deepen their end‐to‐end TA exposure within a complex, professional services environment.
What you'll be doing
* Support end‐to‐end recruitment across professional and technical roles within SMEC ANZ.
* Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and deliver a positive hiring experience.
* Manage job postings, candidate screening, interviews, offers and onboarding coordination.
* Build talent pipelines through proactive sourcing and engagement.
* Maintain accurate recruitment data and reporting in Workday.
* Ensure a consistent, inclusive and high‐quality candidate experience.
What we're looking for
* 1–2 years' experience in an internal or agency recruitment role.
* Strong stakeholder communication and organisational skills.
* A curiosity for learning TA best practice and workforce trends.
* Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities in a fast‐paced environment.
* Experience with ATS / HR systems (Workday experience a plus).
* A collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in people and careers.
