The Opportunity We're seeking a capable and motivated Media Technician to join our dynamic Media Signage team.
This role is ideal for an Electrical Trades Assistant or a technician with a strong electronics background — including experience in Foxtel, antenna, or NBN installations.
What you'll do You'll be responsible for the assembly, installation, configuration, calibration, and ongoing maintenance of permanent media and signage assets, including LED video walls, billboards, pylons, and wall-mounted displays.
The role has a strong focus on fault finding and troubleshooting, diagnosing issues with signage installations, devices, video signal flow, control systems, and power distribution.
You'll work hands-on with HDMI, SDI, DVI, CAT6, and fibre infrastructure, operate LED control software, and carry out both routine and emergency maintenance, including pixel repair and alignment.
The role also requires the ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics, collaborate closely with production and technical teams, and consistently follow OH S standards and site safety procedures to deliver safe, high-quality, and reliable installations.

About you Proven experience in the connection of devices via HDMI and other sources A basic understanding of computer systems and electrical systems Fault finding skills Understanding of testing tools for both electrical and data systems Understanding of hand tools and their use for assembly Able to work at heights, lift heavy equipment, and operate safely in varied conditions Qualifications/tickets such as Working at Heights, EWP, White Card, and Open Cablers Licence are desirable Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a professional, client-focused approach Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments Current Driver's Licence and willingness to travel when required What CV can offer you Competitive salary package.
