Your duties will include but not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting and Analysis
Prepare, review, and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, adding sophistication where required. Ensure the accuracy of financial data and compliance with accounting standards. Develop accounting policies and controls to support global audit and licensing requirements.
- Budgeting/Forecasting and business operation support
Assist in the preparation and management of budgets. Preparation of financial statement related budget and forecast. Prepare cash flow forecast and support planning processes. Provide financial insights to aid in decision-making and strategy formulation as well as support business operation.
- Team Leadership and Mentorship
Supervise and provide guidance to the junior accountant and offshore team members. Facilitate training in the future for team development.
- Projects
Participate in system upgrades, process improvement initiatives, and financial projects. The go-to on systems projects: accounts payable automation and accounting system upgrades. Collaborate cross-functionally with data teams, operations, and product specialists on new products and processes, identifying accounting requirements and building fit-for-purpose solutions.
About You
You will be a CA (preferably Big 4) qualified Senior Accountant with 8+ years’ experience, a positive understanding of complex accounting standards, and proven stakeholder engagement skills. Experience dealing with a multitude of compliance requirements and being able to investigate and consult as required.
