Responsibilities
1. In the absence of a Senior Technician, assist the base supervisor in job allocation where work has not been allocated for the following day.
2. Assist all fellow employees in a supportive manner as an integral part of working as a team.
3. Complete and maintain a daily diary.
4. Maintain the cleanliness/tidiness in the immediate area of your work, both in the workshop and on site.
5. Promote and market Furmanite services, products and business solutions.
6. Comply with the Quality System for the supply of services and products to our clients in accordance with AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000.
7. Comply with Furmanite company policies and procedures, as wide-ranging from time to time.
Requirements
8. With Fitter & Turner, or Fitter Machinist or other relevant skill
9. Trade certificate is highly preferable
10. Hold a valid Australian Driver's License
11. Hold a Construction Card
12. Ability to work Onshore, offshore and on remote site.
13. Ability to work shift work
14. Ability to set priorities and work to deadlines.
15. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
16. Positive written and verbal communication in the English language.
17. Computer literacy an advantage.
