Rail Protection Officer Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Rail Protection Officer.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in high-risk environments and wants to develop their skills and qualifications.
As a Rail Protection Officer, you will be responsible for supporting safe rail operations by assisting work groups on site and implementing safe working requirements under experienced Protection and Safeworking Officers.
You will need strong attention to detail and situational awareness, along with a willingness to learn and develop skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist work groups on site to ensure safe rail operations
* Implement safe working requirements under experienced Protection and Safeworking Officers
* Develop and maintain strong situational awareness
* Work effectively in a team environment
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Safety-conscious and alert in high-risk environments
* Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
* Ability to learn and develop skills quickly
* Good communication skills
* Willingness to obtain a Rail Industry Worker (RIW) card and a Category 1 Rail Medical
* Ability to pass daily drug & alcohol screens while on site
* Ability to work long hours and in harsh site conditions
Working Conditions
This role requires you to work across the Riverina region, which involves traveling to various sites and working in different weather conditions.
You must be based in the Riverina Region and have access to reliable transportation.
