Key responsibilities
* Carry out construction tasks like cementing, paving, and building retaining walls
* Maintain a high-profile, award-winning horticultural site to top standards
* Operate tools and machinery including zero-turn mowers and more
* Perform general grounds tasks: mowing, edging, weeding, pruning, planting, and pest control
* Plan daily work schedules and oversee team productivity and safety
* Complete site paperwork: pre-starts, Take 5s, daily reports, and SWMS
* Communicate with clients and uphold a professional site presence
* Maintain, program, and repair irrigation systems
* Monitor plant and soil health, conduct tests, and apply treatments
* Support seasonal planting and small design enhancements
* Identify and report site issues or improvement opportunities
* Enforce WHS practices across the team
* Conduct regular site inspections for quality and safety
* Mentor and support junior staff
* Assist with basic pricing and estimating tasks
What will you need
* Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks and Gardens
* Certificate III in Landscape Construction
* Driver's licence
* National Police Check
* Working with Children Check
