Yard/Store Person– Fabrication
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Storeperson to join our fabrication yard team. This role is well-suited to someone with a strong background in procurement and logistics, who can support the efficient movement of materials, tools, and equipment within a fast-paced fabrication environment.
Receive and unload deliveries from trucks and containers, inspecting goods for quality, quantity, and any damage, and completing all delivery documentation.
Organise and store materials within the warehouse and fabrication yard to ensure efficient access and workflow.
Prepare and dispatch goods, including picking materials, loading trucks, and coordinating with transport companies and couriers, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
Manage inventory by recording all incoming and outgoing stock and maintaining appropriate levels of consumables.
Operate equipment safely, including forklifts and telehandlers, and coordinate fuel supply for vehicles and plant.
Promote and uphold health and safety standards, and assist in guiding team members on correct storeroom practices.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with the Procurement & Logistics Team, Tradies, and Fabrication Manager to support smooth operations.

About You
As a Storeperson in our fabrication yard, you will play a key role in ensuring materials, components, and equipment are received, stored, and distributed efficiently to support workshop operations. You will work closely with supervisors, trades, and suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials and maintain accurate inventory control.
Proven experience as a Storeperson, Yardperson or Warehouse Operator within a fabrication, construction, or industrial environment.
Strong understanding of procurement and logistics processes.
Experience handling fabrication materials and heavy items.
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Ability to work both independently and within a team.
Reliable, punctual, and willing to work in an outdoor yard environment.
Proactive, reliable, and safety-focused mindset.
Drivers License.
HRWL - Forklift and Telehandler.
Franna Licence is advantageous, but not essential if you tick all the other boxes.
