Post Graduate Surgical Fellowship
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to enhance their skills in elective and emergency surgery, as well as outpatient surgical consultations.
About the Role
This fellowship position is endorsed by the Australian & New Zealand Metabolic Obesity Surgical Society (ANZMOSS) as a recognised post for specialist training in all aspects of metabolic / bariatric surgical care. The fellow will participate in clinical and research work, including the provision of bariatric surgery and perioperative care.
Key Responsibilities
* Participate in clinical and research work, including the provision of bariatric surgery and perioperative care.
* Work with specialist surgeons and registrars, and provide support at other sites within the district.
* Contribute to continuing medical education relevant to General Surgery.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
* Demonstrated commitment to continuing medical education relevant to General Surgery.
* Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with medical and other health service colleagues as part of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
* Willingness to commit to an equitable hospital on-call roster for Surgery.
