The right educator will be patient, engaging, and passionate about creating a nurturing environment that supports both children's individual needs and learning styles.Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver age-appropriate programs to support developmental milestones.Facilitate daily educational activities including sensory play, arts and crafts, painting, and imaginative play.Adapt activities to support individual learning needs, particularly for the 3-year-old with additional needs.Work collaboratively with the parent/caregiver, who will provide guidance on existing routines and activities.Maintain a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment in the home.Provide regular feedback on the children’s progress and engagement.Desirable Attributes and Experience:Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or similar.Experience in early childhood settings, preferably with In Home Care or similar.Understanding or experience working with neurodivergent children (e.g., autism spectrum, sensory processing differences).Creative, patient, and reliable with strong communication skills.Knowledge of the EYLF (Early Years Learning Framework) is a plus.Additional Information:The family places a strong emphasis on sensory and creative play—educators who enjoy messy play and hands-on activities are encouraged to apply.You must:- Not essential, but preferable to have or be working towards getting your Certificate in Early Childhood Education & Care or have a relevant higher education- Be an experienced child care worker with at least 3 professional references.- Have WWCC, Police Check, CPR and Level 2 First Aid- Have a car & driver's licence- Be willing to commit for at least 12 months- Full working rights in Australia.
