Overview
Join the team behind one of the most recognised wine brands in the world. As the Senior Brand Manager, you will take the reins of the brand's largest portfolio in its home market. This is a high impact role where you'll balance global brand consistency with local relevance, driving the marketing strategy, consumer engagement, and commercial performance across both national retail and the dedicated E-commerce platform. Based in the head office, you'll be at the heart of a fast-paced, digital forward environment where AI tools are part of the daily workflow to help you stay ahead of the curve.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategy & Planning: Build and deliver three year strategic and annual marketing plans that align with global brand positioning while resonating deeply with Australian consumer
* Campaign & Creative Lead: Develop integrated, high-impact communication plans across ATL, BTL, digital, and PR
* Commercial Growth: Own the commercial outcomes for the Australian market, managing the promotional framework, pricing strategy, and the P&L for the DTC e-commerce channel.
* Innovation & NPD: Partner with the Global Innovation team to lead local product launches, ensuring the global pipeline is successfully executed within the Australian retail landscape
* Agency & Stakeholder Management: Lead relationships with creative and media agencies while working cross-functionally with Sales, Digital Enablement, and Global Marketing teams.
* Data-Driven Insights: Utilise digital dashboards and consumer research to monitor brand health, interpret market trends, and optimise marketing spend for the best possible ROAS.
Your Ideal Background
* Proven Track Record: At least 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, ideally at a Senior Brand Manager level within the wine industry.
* Strategic Expertise: Strong fundamentals in positioning, segmentation, and executing complex, multi-channel integrated marketing plans.
* Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated experience managing significant marketing budgets and connecting creative activity to tangible revenue and market share growth.
* Digital Literacy: Comfortable navigating performance dashboards and a conceptual understanding of digital metrics like ROAS, CPA, and LTV.
* AI Proficiency: Experience using AI chat tools (such as ChatGPT, Copilot) to enhance productivity, from drafting briefs to pulling together market research.
* Collaborative Mindset: Excellence in managing internal stakeholders, external agencies and the ability to work effectively within a global brand framework.
