About the role
You'll be based at our Welshpool Depot and be active in assisting in essential maintenance services.
The role involves moving equipment around the facility and yard, both manually and using a forklift, making the role ideal for an active individual.
You will:
- Operate a forklift for carrying out yard work efficiently and safely.
- Load and unloading gas cylinders of various weights from cages and vehicles, both manually and using lifting aids.
- Safely fill and decant LP Gas from cylinders.
- Assist with yard maintenance, including safe storage of tools and equipment, rubbish removal, and tasks to ensure a safe and efficient workplace.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed correctly and on time
You possess:
- Forklift driver's license, for the in-yard fleet movements.
- Previous experience in deliveries, warehouse and or/ yard work advantageous.
- Reliability.
- Good physical fitness and stamina.
- A commitment to fostering a safety-first culture.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Flexibility in periodically working overtime.
