About the Role
The Associate Director, Transport & Fleet Operations leads end-to-end strategic operational management of a diverse motor vehicle fleet and associated team of drivers’, ensuring high-level transport services for senior executive stakeholders, including the Premier, Ministry, and office holders while maintaining regulatory compliance and WHS safety standards. You will drive organisational efficiency by leveraging data analytics, negotiating key supplier contracts and implementing advanced digital technologies that focus to optimise logistics' and reduce costs.

We're Looking For
* Strategic Operations Management: Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of the motor vehicle fleet, from procurement and policy development to asset disposal, ensuring all operations align with whole-of-government priorities.
* Executive Stakeholder Support: Deliver high-level, responsive logistics and transport services to the Premier and Ministry, managing complex scheduling and rostering to meet the needs of high-profile clients.
* Compliance and Safety Oversight: Implement robust WHS systems, safety policies, and driver testing frameworks to ensure full alignment with regulatory legislation and mitigate operational risks.
* Data-Driven Performance: Analyse fleet data and leverage digital technologies to generate reports that drive cost reductions, improve resource efficiency, and support informed decision-making.
* Contract and Supplier Negotiation: Lead strategic negotiations with external service providers to secure high-value contracts that meet operational requirements and long-term strategic goals.
