Our client, a Commonwealth Government organisation whose focus is to provide support to Australians living with disability, are seeking the experience of an Automation Test Engineer.
About the role - Automation Test Engineer
Embed effective test automation technologies, practices and execution across a suite of new leading-edge strategic technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Implement automation frameworks, ensuring usability, effectiveness, efficiency and maintainability are met
- Set standards for writing test code and automation coding principles to be used across the team
- Drive in-Sprint delivery of automated tests meeting acceptance criteria and enabling the Definition of Done
Skills / Experience - Automation Test Engineer
- Experience building and executing automated test regimes as part of a DevOps team using CI/CD methodologies
- Expert “hands-on” technical proficiency with UI functional automation using tools such as Playwright, Selenium WebDriver and BDD frameworks like Cucumber
- Skilled in testing REST API using Postman, testing Salesforce and MuleSoft based solutions, and writing automation scripts for REST API tests
