2. Analytical Frameworks and Modelling

Apply analytical frameworks, build models, and conduct econometric analysis to draw robust insights from advanced economic concepts and analyses.

3. Thought Leadership and Knowledge Transfer

Contribute to thought leadership on current developments and emerging trends in the energy sector, facilitating knowledge transfer and promoting a better understanding of how economic concepts relate to the operation of the energy market.

4. Communication and Stakeholder Engagement

Communicate complex issues or concepts in a way that is accessible to a wide range of stakeholders, including internal policymakers, consumers, industry participants, and government.

Requirements

* A background in microeconomics and/or econometrics would be an advantage, as would knowledge or modelling experience of gas and/or electricity markets.
* A minimum of 2-5 years' relevant work experience in a policy, research, and/or regulatory role involving the application of economic concepts and analysis to decision-making processes.
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain economic concepts to stakeholders and non-technical audiences.

* A flexible and innovative approach to problem-solving that takes into account diverse views and requirements.
* Demonstrated analytical skills, including quantitative skills and the proven ability to understand complex subject matters quickly.
