About the Role
">
This role is a permanent position on a 7:7 roster, rotating day and night shift, FIFO from Darwin or Cairns.
">
We're recruiting for Ancillary Mining Operators at GEMCO who will safely execute operations activities by operating equipment in accordance with GEMCO standards and operating procedures.
">
Other key responsibilities include:
">
* Executing production mining and/or development activities according to the production plan
* Effective communication of equipment status to pit control
* Adhering to defined standard procedures and applying safe work practices
* Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of all incidents and hazards
* Promoting safety and improvement culture through effective leadership

About You
">
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
">
* Experience working in mining operations
* Operating small diggers, moxys and pumps for mining ancillary work
* Championing a safety-focused culture, conducting risk-assessments and following change management procedures
* Able to relocate yourself to Darwin or Cairns if successful

Qualifications for this position are:

* Current C Class driver license (manual)
